An hours calculator computes the number of hours and minutes between two times. It supports both same-day calculations (where the end time follows the start time on the same calendar day) and cross-date calculations (where the start and end occur on different days).
The calculator handles AM/PM notation correctly: 12:00 AM is midnight (0:00), and 12:00 PM is noon. PM hours are converted by adding 12 to the hour value. A "Now" button can populate the current time for quick calculations.
