Day Counter
Count days, weekdays, and business days
How It Works
Count the total number of days, weekdays, or business days between two dates, or count days from a specific date.
A day counter helps track the exact number of days between two dates, which is useful for project planning, countdowns, and legal deadlines. It can also determine the date that falls a certain number of days before or after a given date.
The calculator distinguishes between total days, weekdays (Monday through Friday), and weekend days (Saturday and Sunday). When counting business days, it can optionally exclude holidays from the count.
The Doomsday rule, invented by John Conway, provides a mental algorithm for calculating the day of the week for any date. The method uses anchor days for each century (1900 = Wednesday, 2000 = Tuesday) and simple arithmetic to find the day of the week.
