Concrete Calculator
Calculate concrete volume for slabs, columns, tubes, curbs, and stairs
How It Works
Calculate the volume of concrete needed for various shapes including slabs, columns, tubes, curbs, and stairs.
Concrete is a versatile building material used for foundations, slabs, columns, and other structural elements. This calculator determines the volume of concrete required based on the shape and dimensions of your project.
For rectangular slabs, volume is simply length times width times depth. Round columns use the cylinder volume formula. Hollow tubes subtract the inner volume from the outer volume. Curb and gutter shapes are calculated using the cross-sectional area times the length. Stair calculations consider both the horizontal platform area and the vertical riser area.
The calculator provides results in cubic inches, cubic feet, cubic yards, and cubic meters, along with an estimated number of 60 lb and 80 lb concrete bags needed. One 60 lb bag yields approximately 0.45 cubic feet, and one 80 lb bag yields approximately 0.6 cubic feet.
